Broward School Board – Day Off for Eid

After 5 years of persistent follow up, sister Naima Khan Ghany and by the recommendation of the school board diversity committee, the Broward School Board by a 7-1 vote approved the resolution to declare an official day off for Eid beginning year 2023.  This was a historic achievement for the Muslim community. The community is grateful to years of hard work by sister Naima and the Broward school board for their decision.
