The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon has significantly escalated due to the recent surge in hostilities along the southern border, further straining the already fragile healthcare system and leading to a sharp rise in the number of internally displaced persons.
Over 200,000 people have been displaced due to the recent military escalation in Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirms that nearly 600 people including children have been killed and thousands injured.
Med global has been actively addressing the needs of displaced communities, by distributing blankets, clothing, mattresses, bottled water, emergency medical treatments and food items at various shelters.
Immediate action is needed to address these challenges, including enhancing the capacity of healthcare facilities to manage trauma cases, providing essential services to displaced populations, and ensuring the protection of medical facilities and personnel in conflict zones.
Join Friends Of Humanity International Inc. & MedGlobal to provide life-saving medical care to those affected on the ground in Lebanon.
